She’s making it so hard to leave!

Had to hear about your Danish boyfriend, I forced a swoon.
I want to have an all-Lemonheads karaoke session (or a road trip).

Thrush Hermit - North Dakota
I went on a Thrush Hermit kick recently… Halifax Pop!
Some day I will tire of this song. Nah, just kidding.
Interrupt this working on a day off to bring you “Fans” by Kings of Leon.
As you probably know, I am so cool that I don’t have to worry that it isn’t cool to like Kings of Leon. Duh.
Anyway, this song is gorgeous, obviously, but I’m almost more impressed with the lyrics. They are insane in their complete and utter honesty. Every guy in a band is thinking this (at least on some level). I love that Kings of Leon have the nerve to say it.
In the office on a Sunday morning, a bit hungover, could use a couple more hours of sleep. The Push Kings are giving me life.
The Stills, “Still in Love Song”
This song, like “The Edge of Glory” sounds so much like it belongs to a time several something years before its release. And I love it. I forgot about it for a while. I’m glad to remember.
When we were lovers / we were kissers / we were holders of hands / we were make believers / just losing time
Tricky, “Christiansands.”
You and me. What does that mean? Always. What does that mean? Forever. What does that mean? It means we’ll manage.
It’s annoying to find bleep-ups at work, but a recent one reminded me how much I love this song, so there’s that silver lining.
