Sloan singles 1992-2011
I had no idea a lot of these even existed until I stumbled upon the discography section on Sloan’s website. I’m so excited at just the mere prospect of finding some of them at Princeton Record Exchange, where promo singles come to hang out. I really love the “G Turns to D” one with the Fender Mustang guitar and the green “The Good in Everyone” single right next to it. I regret not ordering the latter off Sloan’s website; it was a 7” with a demo version of “Autobiography” on the b-side; now it’s sold out.
Anyway I made this graphic by using what the website had (only up to Pretty Together) and the very cool discogs.com, which displayed a few singles (“The Other Man” (?!) and this bizarre Action Pact-era b-side promo single. The “Witch’s Wand” one is not actually a CD but that is official Sloan font from the video. As for “Believe in Me” I could not find a picture of any sort of single anywhere. Same with the other singles off Never Hear the End of It.
Here’s to hunting for ‘em!
